We have partnered with Genesite, whose platform utilizes advanced genetic science to analyze how an individual’s genes may impact their response to medications commonly prescribed for mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more. The testing process, which involves a simple cheek swab to collect DNA samples, is done in our office or the comfort of your own home. These samples are then analyzed to generate a comprehensive report that categorizes medications into different levels of suitability based on your individual genetic markers. This information helps us to make informed decisions about prescribing medications that are more likely to work effectively, potentially reducing the trial-and-error approach often associated with psychiatric medications.

Fee: There is a $250 fee associated with this service. This fee covers the ordering of the genomic tests, interpretation of results, and a comprehensive 45 minute visit with the our provider to discuss results. You will receive a copy of your report to keep for your records.
